Group Insurance |
The Company pays 100% of all employee’s group major medical plan that includes a prescription card. Employees may elect dependent coverage for $125 per month. Begining the third year of employment, this reduces to $67.50 per month and after five years of continuous employment, this is reduced to zero.
We also pay 100% of the employee’s dental plan. Employees may elect to cover dependents. The employee’s monthly cost for dependent coverage is Spouse - $30.00; Children only - $25.00; Family - $55.00.

Life Insurance |
The Company provides $25,000 in Life Insurance to each employee and an additional $25,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment policy. The Company also provides $10,000 in Life Insurance for the employee’s spouse, $5,000 in Life Insurance for each child between the ages of 6 months and 24 years old, and $1,000 for each child less than 6 months old.

Pension Plan and 401K Plan |
The Company has a Defined Benefits Pension Plan and a 401K savings plan. Each employee is fully vested after five (5) years of continuous employment. This plan is fully paid by the company.
The Company also sponsors 401K Savings Plan. Although the Company is not required to make any matching contributions, it may elect to do so. The Company has historically matched as much as 50% of the employees’ annual contributions.

Longevity Pay/Bonus Pay |
Higman rewards each of their employees with a Longevity/Bonus Pay program recognizing their seniority tenure with the Company beginning after the employee has six months of continuous employment.

Licensing Upgrades and Renewals |
The Company pays or reimburses employees for training at company approved schools in Texas and Louisiana to facilitate license upgrades and renewals. |
