Higman Marine, by and through its principal subsidiaries, Higman Marine Services, Higman Service Corporation and Higman Barge Lines, is a leading provider of inland marine transportation services for bulk liquid petroleum and chemical cargoes. Founded in 1917, today Higman has significantly increased the size of its fleet from 32 vessels to over 120 owned and operated vessels and is proud to have one of the youngest and most modern fleets in the industry.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, the Company maintains operations centers in Channelview and Orange, Texas as well as Mobile and Decatur, Alabama.

The Company today enjoys one of the youngest barge fleets in the industry. The average age of the Higman barge fleet is less than 8 years, vs. the average age of the U.S Tank barge fleet today of approximately 28 years.
